Kevin & Michelle have served the team PCFI since March 2017. Whilst both being long-standing ordained ministers with the Assemblies of God (UK), they are also the founders and leaders of 'Encourage International' a ministry that seeks to bring much needed encouragement, inspiration and training to churches across the globe. Gifted teachers and communicators combined with a shepherds heart,their passion is to teach God's Word and to partner with Jesus in seeing His beautiful bride, the church built up. Both holding Masters Degrees in Applied Theology and Ministerial Leadership, they travel and teach extensively as well as providing leadership development for churches in many different nations. Michelle is also the author of two devotional books with more on the way. In this season sitting alongside their other ministry commitments they are honoured to serve and provide cover as our senior overseeing ministers.

Our serving structure

Here at PCFI we understand fully that it is Jesus Himself who is the head of His church, and He arranges the parts of the body (the various gifts and callings) just as He sees best (1 Corinth 12:18). In our commitment to partner with Jesus in the furtherance of His kingdom and His mission, ourheart is to provide a dynamic and empowering ‘team’ culture. Therefore the very practical and servant hearted leadership structure we have adopted within the fellowship comprises of our:

Senior Leadership Team:

Our Senior Leadership Team, are set apart for the task of helping to provide the spiritual, teaching and pastoral oversight of the fellowship, as well as prayerfully providing the ongoing mission and visionary development of the church

Our congregational pastors:

We currently seeking a congregational pastor to take overall pastoral charge of the fellowship on a day to day basis.

The practical ministry team:

Helping to provide the backbone of the fellowship, is our practical ministry team. This team is made up of the various team leaders from the variety of ministries and departments that go to make up the wider tapestry of PCFI. Working together and serving alongside our SLT these amazing volunteers provide the practical support and active service that allows the church to function week by week. We honour, value and bless them all.

Encourage International:

Under the guidance and leadership of Kevin Shaw, we are honoured as a fellowship to partner with Encourage International, an international ministry whose aim is to offer support, guidance and mentoring to local churches. As part of his role with Encourage International, Kevin serves as our senior ministry advisor and bible teacher, seeking to bring wisdom, mentoring and development to our leadership team
